Both of the videos look good. I have found making the bowl not visible allow the dog to learn an extra piece of the equation which is to take notice of another visually identifiable target to find his way to the bowl. And that of course will be very helpful when you introduce the laser itself as the visually identifiable target.
Nice job. It took your boy a little longer on the invisible bowl send to get his ears up and be his perky self. Do take your time to wait him out on that, and play with how strongly you give the down command as to not affect his drive in any way.
