your primed sends to visible looked really good. You obviously caught during the invisible bowl series that on one of the sends he was not focused at the landmark which could guide him to the bowl. You did the right thing by stopping him and re-setting the whole rep instead of attempting to "help". AT times you'll get send when the dog is not identifying the intended target at the moment you send.
This is something that can occur even more easily when you work in darkness. You may notice in one of my Module 2 videos when I am setting my dog up for a send into the open truck door, he is in the prep position, he acknowledges AND identifies the laser. BUT!!!!! You can also see that he takes his eyes off the laser a couple of times. Its not super obvious, but he hears cars driving at a distance, and since puppyhood he's had a slight obsession with cars, so the sound got his attention enough to have him take his eyes off the laser. I had to wait for the moment where he had committed focus before sending him.
Hello Armin. Yes I have noticed that while incorporating the laser, it is much more important to make sure the dogs are super focused, or other stimuli can be that much more distracting to the dog… we have progressed fairly well, however I will be taking a step back, and really focusing on increasing the amount of repetitions in conducive environments with little/to zero distractions. I will attach a video of where we were currently on my last shift. I apologize that the quality is not the best, as I had to set up my phone on a cruiser push bar to capture the dogs send out.

Hi Marc,
Sorry I've been backed up on reviewing videos.

Keep on training, good job!
