I meant to ask during the webinar.
Do or can the dogs get a cue to the exercise due to the equipment we use? I have been using a lightweight paracord tab during these reps.
My patrol dog has an understanding of what is going to happen when I hook him up with different tools.

Hi Chris,
Dogs definitely cue from the type of equipment we use. I use my short rope tab for a number of things, so it's not an automatic association with laser for him.
Being aware of this form of association and conditioning training is important to avoid dependency or pitfalls from it.
People who don't do a lot of muzzle stuff other than fighting or aggression training, the muzzle becomes equipment. Obviously not desirable.
